Lubbock-Cooper ISD is proud to announce the implementation of our new parent notification system, School Messenger. Messenger will be a great tool useful in notifying parents of any information concerning bad weather delays or closings, emergency situations, important reminders for upcoming events and more. The system can also be used to notify parents about student absences if the campus attendance office has not been contacted.

 

The system is set up to notify parents in a variety of ways, including primary phone, cell phone, email and text message. This contact information has been taken directly from family records on file in the district database. This message has been sent through all of the above means, and we ask that you check to make sure that you’ve received it each possible way. If you have failed to receive this message through one of the aforementioned avenues, or if you would like to change any of the contact information we have on file for you (a primary number, add/take away a phone number or cell phone number, change an email address, or receive messages in Spanish instead of English), please notify your child’s attendance office immediately. It is very important that we have correct, updated information for every parent and guardian in our district!

 

In determining the means with which you would like to be contacted, please note that bad weather closings and delays will be sent out at 6:00 a.m., attendance calls will be sent out after 10:00 a.m., and event reminders will be sent sometime during the normal school day schedule.
