Cell Phones
According to school policies, students may bring cell phones to school if there is a valid need (after school programs, transportation inconsistencies, medical, etc.). Improper use of phones (e.g., use during class times) may result in confiscation of phones to be returned only to the parent. Schools are not responsible for loss of phones during any portion of the school day or after-school activities. Repeated inappropriate use will result in disciplinary action.
Students may not have cell phones on their person during any state testing days. They may place cell phones in the care of the test administrator or leave them at home on state testing days.
Any violation of this policy will result in appropriate disciplinary action including the risk of invalidation of test scores.
