2009-2010 Meal Prices
The District participates in the National School Lunch Program and offers nutritionally balanced meals daily to students. Free and reduced price meals are available based on financial need. Information on this program can be obtained from Katy Thompson at 863-2282, ext. 1601. Meal pre-payments for both breakfast and lunch go on sale in the cafeterias each day at 7:30 a.m. Appropriate behavior is expected both in the mornings and during the lunch periods. Students may be subject to disciplinary measures if behavior is unacceptable. Effective August 1, 2004, all Texas public schools participating in the federal child nutrition programs (National School Lunch Program, School breakfast Program and the After school Snack Program) must comply with the nutrition policies outlined in the Student Handbook (see pg. 13). These policies are intended to supplement federal policies defined bu the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Services. Parents should note that all birthday parties will take place one day per month in the cafeteria, with all food items supplied by cafeteria personnel.

| ECH - 5th Graders | Choice of a healthy, cold, covered lunch in a plastic container is offered in place of the menu entree each day. |
| Middle School & High School | Along with the menu entree, covered sandwiches, covered fruit meal, covered salad meal, and a pizza line are offered each day. All lines are open to those who qualify as free students, and for $.40 to those who qualify as reduced students. |
